White Flower
A white flower represents purity, innocence, perfection and hope. They are common at weddings to match the white dress of the bride. They are also often given as gifts for funerals.
Some type of white flower blooms year round, so they are always in season, and always appropriate for wedding flowers. However, keep in mind that because of their delicate shading, white flowers show more browning as they wilt compared to other colors. Store them in florist’s boxes away from heat and direct sunlight until they are needed. Calla lilies, stephanotis’s, gardenias, orchids, roses, and lilies bloom year round. White gardenias, paperwhites, stephanotis, lilies and tuberose are have intense fragrances, so keep them off of food trays.
Besides weddings and funerals there are many other reasons to choose a white flower. They are great to give for new relationships to show you think your new partner is perfect. They are great “get-well” gifts. They will be loved and appreciated by anyone for almost any occasion.
